faerie wings

It is very true that not all faeries have wings. In fact most faeries don't have wings. Pixies for example are an earth elemental faerie who don't have wings, mermaids are water elementals and usually don't have wings. Some faeries do use wings, or enjoy bringing their wings out in the sunshine, but they don't need them to fly as they can move anywhere with a simple thought. If you see a faerie with wings it may be an extension of light they are shining, they may be mimicking a butterfly or ladybird they saw that morning, it may be their true wings or they may be wings they decided to wear for the day because it makes them feel good. If you are having a bad day, faeries recommend putting wings on to bring some new inspiration and rise above the negative energy. Faerie Cara has a variety of wings she brings out when playing, she also often chooses to mingle in the human world with her wings tucked out of human vision. If you do happen to see her one day without wings, don't worry she will be sparkling her wings in the sunshine one day soon.

mama faerie

My faerie mama is a water sprite, though you will often see her dancing on a full moon, or a dark moon, or in the daylight... she likes to dance. She let me play in strawberry patches when I was growing up which made my hair turn bright red. She taught me to dance, to fly and to sing. She is the descendant of Irish faeries that keep their culture alive through storytelling and song. Her family left the Irish shores in search of new stories, and now I tell the tales of my grandfathers home land and the heritage that flows in my lifeline

faerie dad

My dad is an earth elemental, although when the tide is right, and the sun is shining bright you will see him floating out to sea with a smile as big as big can be. He has a fascination for chickens and has spent many years teaching me about the peculiar nature of his feathered friends. His love for the land and making things grow taught me to be patient and to grow steadily as the trees sprouted in our forest. His family descended from Scotland, although it has been so long since his clan left those shores, they have tied their alliance firmly with the Australian land.

Faerie Cara is in fact owned by two animals

Puppy is a pile of love held together with black and grey hair often called a dog. She doesn't believe anything is worth hurrying for, that cars should stop for animals and that all pets belong on beds. She will delight any household and neighbours with her snoring and roll in anything if it smells delightful, however not all people agree with her unique taste in smell.

Pluck is a socially challenged chicken, once rejected from her chicken society and was unfortunately plucked bald by her fellow classmates. After much love and faerie healing she is now a fully fluffed chicken who prides herself on her appearance. Pluck sleeps indoors, loves to share melon and will lay an egg in the most unexpected of spots.

Both animals agree that Faerie Cara makes a wonderful pet as she is toilet trained, great to pat and often retrieves objects when they are thrown.
