Faerie Cara has been a children’s faerie entertainer for over 14 years. Delivering traditional storytelling, songs, stage show entertainment and festival mayhem to Australian and International crowds. Descending from a line of Irish storytellers, Cara journeyed to Ireland where she spent two years walking town to town listening to the sgealaidhthe (traditional Irish storytellers), learning the Irish language and folklore that kept her foremothers captivated for many generations. Having studied in natural medicine, dance, theatre and music to become the community and eco conscious entertainer she is today. Cara is now based in Perth, where she continues to create headlines with her waves of eco-conscious events and social activities.
Faeries are no longer a fragment of dreamtime imagination. They are an awoken reality, come forth from the mystic realms of nature. They are stepping out from the garden beds, dream time and the old places of the world to share the true magic of nature. For too many years there was silence between the realms, now at last the human folk are wanting to make things grow once more. Children are seeing faeries and the lights of the fey are beginning to reveal their dance on mountain tops. Now is the time to discover the faerie that is within your own heart.
Every blade of grass has its angel that bends over it and whispers, 'grow, grow.' -The Talmud
